Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cargo Service Clerk with strong writing and organizational skills to join our team.  In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate tracking, inventory management and general labor duties.  The ideal candidate is meticulous, reliable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends while working in all weather conditions.

 


Responsibilities

  • Accurately count and document containers, shipments, and materials.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of inventory and shipping activities
  • Verify shipping documents
  • Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external partners to resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Perform quality checks on containers and material to ensure they meet standards.
  • Assist with general labor tasks, including loading/unloading and organizing inventory.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written communication skills for accurate reporting and record-keeping.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly throughout a shift
  • Must have valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a TWIC card.
  • Outgoing, friendly personality.
