We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with an industrial maintenance background who can work efficiently and accurately in the field of Industrial electrical maintenance and mechanics including welding and general maintenance.

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with an industrial electrical background who can work efficiently and accurately in the field of Industrial electrical maintenance and mechanics. If you can diagnose and repair electrical machinery control systems and wiring, such as contactors, relays, starters, PLC’s, and equipment, etc., then this is the right opportunity for you. 

Your new responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment;
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to develop appropriate solutions;
  • Inspect equipment to ensure optimal operating condition;
  • Perform electrical, mechanical and weld repairs;
  • Reference manuals, blueprints and other sources of information to build knowledge and ensure appropriate operation and repair of equipment;
  •  Observe all OSHA and facility safety regulations, including use of personal protective equipment;
  •  Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs on equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

 

You have the right qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or GED;
  • At least two years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar electrical/mechanical background;
  • Must possess your own basic tool set (socket set, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammer, etc.). A tool list will be provided;
  • Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the maintenance of equipment;
  • Ability to read and comprehend standard instructions, short correspondences and memos, including safety, instructional and procedural manuals;
  • Ability to perform weld repair
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables;
  • A team player;
  • A valid driver’s license and eligibility to obtain a TWIC card through the Federal Transportation Security Administration.
