Responsibilities
As a Project Director, your days will be both challenging and diverse:
- You will be responsible for major environmental projects across Canada, including site remediation, marine dredging, water treatment, and much more.
- You will oversee contractual aspects, including budget management, timeline adherence, and alignment with client objectives.
- You will ensure that each team member fully understands the technical and administrative scope of each project.
- You will be accountable for ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards on all projects.
- You will guide the development of complex proposals, estimating costs and identifying the best solutions.
- Please note: This position may require you to fly-in/fly-out during the high season for project sites located in remote areas.
Qualifications
Your ideal profile:
- You have 10 years of experience in environmental projects, particularly in site remediation across Canada.
- You are an experienced leader with 5 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- You hold a university degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
- You excel in contract management, have strong analytical skills
- You are a natural communicator and trainer, able to inspire and help grow your teams.
- You demonstrate a strong initiative and a proactive approach to your work.
- You are proficient in both English and French: Given the diversity of our team and the need to communicate with local, pan-Canadian, and international clients and partners, the ability to understand and communicate in both languages is a must.
