 We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator for our Stevedoring and/or Cargo Handling operations. The purpose of this position is to coordinate daily administrative functions within the team with accurate and timely information. 

 Details: 

  • Scheduling:
    • Monday - Friday, 1st shift  
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • $15-$20/hr. Based on experience

Responsibilities

 

  • Safety
    • Act as a Safety Coordinator 
    • Interact with customer Safety Teams
    • General oversight of EHS system, data entries and training
    • Attend safety meetings and document activities
    • Respond and assist to with safety incidents
    • Maintain EPA/GEPD Air Quality and Stormwater Permit
    • OSHA reporting and database administration 
  • Maintenance and Equipment 
    • Provide oversight in eMaint and maintain all aspects of the CMMS software
    • Track and maintain assets, equipment repairs, cost, downtime and certifications
    • Coordinate rental equipment procurement and tracking
  • General Operations
    • Create and maintain vendor relationships
    • Review, update and maintain SOP database
    • Cross Training

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an Administrative Position
    • Experience with reporting, purchase orders, tracking inventory and/or equipment, database management 
    • Educational training may be substituted for work experience 
  • Proficient with Excel 
    • Including advanced function skills, Pivot Tables and more. 
  • High Degree of professionalism and organizational skills 
  • Preference for experience with safety, permitting and/or OSHA regulations. 

 Other Details: 

  • All employees must pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical and be able to obtain a valid TWIC card within a specified period of hire.
