Responsibilities

🗓️ What You’ll Be Doing:

  • End-to-end payroll processing for regular and CCQ employees, with accuracy and confidentiality

  • Manage government remittances, retirement plans, group insurance, and third-party contributions

  • Administer employee benefits (health plans, RRSPs, etc.), from onboarding to day-to-day support

  • Answer employee questions about payroll and benefits with empathy and clarity

  • Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs) and follow up with Service Canada

  • Support month-end and year-end processes (reconciliations, T4s, RL1s, DAS)

  • Drive continuous improvement of payroll and benefits processes

  • Collaborate with finance, HR, and managers to ensure seamless support across departments


Qualifications

🧠 What You Bring:

  • Education in administration, accounting, human resources, or a related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar payroll + benefits role

  • Canadian Payroll Association Level 1 certification required

  • Experience with CCQ payroll

  • Fully bilingual in French and English (essential for working with diverse teams and partners)

  • Comfortable with tools like UltiPro, Desjardins, Viewpoint (asset)

  • Organized, autonomous, discreet, and committed to excellence
